Many investors wonder why these resources were untapped till today ?

Mongolia's history explains why it was untapped. There are certain angles in my mind such as:

1. Mongolians way of living and their respect to the nature. As you may know, mongolians nomadic civilization rely on their livestock. Living a nomadic life requires a lot of endurance, adaptability and coexisting skill with it's surrounding nature without destroying or changing it. Every child growing up at the Mongolian steppe knows each mountain's name, every river's name and can distinguish various plants and animals. it is very well set in Mongolians mind, the fundamentals of it's existence is land and untapped landscape. Therefore first reason is people's attitude to nature.

2. Metallurgy and mining is traditionally not developed

3. It's landlocked position between Russia and China.

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: Sometime in June 2011. It is raining whole day and i can still hear raindrops from last night while i was seeing off my gf to taxi.

It feels odd as the weather patterns changes just over 25 years. As i remember my childhood days revive quite sunny and with beautifull soft breeze. But nowadays are most like Germany and on the contrary it is really dry summer in China where farmers are loosing their crops. That means we might have less friuts in Autumn or i shall pay more money to buy an apple.

It turns out that the most of mongolians love rain because it was one of the rare things. Besides Mongolia is always defined sunny Mongolia. In addition to this there might relation between internet age-rain lovers. Because we all day work, watch, enjoy our e-life and there is little awareness paid to weather. When it starts rain it is kind of change i can feel, something is happening outside (first sms sent by mothernature) ah i c, it is raining --- > it turns out that e-lifers like change. Because in e-world or in virtual internet life you surf quickly and so on so on.

Rain washed all the leaves, all the trees and me as well, i wish if it could wash the sadness in your eyes.
